50TH AGM & Conference
29th September – 1st October 2023 in Doncaster

Conference theme: Regeneration in challenging times
Venue: The Mansion House, Doncaster
Friday 29th September: Delegates who arrive early will be able to register at The Danum Gallery, Library and Museum between 13.00-16.00, They may wish to attend a talk by Chris Barron, Trustee of the Grammar School Railway Collection and join a tour of the Railway Heritage Gallery. Alternatively, they may join a guided tour of the Art Collection in the company of Neil MacGregor, Curator of Fine Art, and possibly gather for dinner in a local restaurant in the evening.
Saturday 30th September: Conference, Registration and coffee/tea and a breakfast buffet will be available from 10.00 am and proceedings will commence at 10.30 am.
The formal Conference will finish at 4.00 pm. Followed by BAFM’s AGM.
The Wine Reception, will take place in the Mansion House is between 6.30 -7.00 pm.
Dinner in the Ballroom of The Mansion House from 7.00pm.
It comprises 3 courses, wine, and coffee to finish, with music entertainment provided by Doncaster Waits and bestselling author Gervase Phinn as our After Dinner speaker.
Sunday 1ST October: A variety of heritage sites are open on Sunday; information is available from Doncaster Tourist Information Centre. It is hoped to organise a guided tour of Doncaster.
